It never has been any sort of race, its just 10,000 people on bicycles riding from one beer tent to the next.

Not sure if I will do the whole thing or just part of it. Depends on if we want to take a whole week off.

If I do a part of it I will just put a pack on the bike like last year and join up with Ragbrai in central IA, follow it to the end and ride home again.

I got some odd looks riding the pacelines with 50 pounds of gear strapped to a luggage rack on the back of the bike.

I think I'll ride the first and maybe the second day. Then head back to Omaha.

Yep, sent my check in already and signed up with the Out of Staters (OOS). Looks to be a good ride this year. The overnight and inbetween towns have been announced and the GeoBike options are also available for study. Enjoy your ride!
