I know this is the politics only forum, but don't you think we would all cool down a bit if we had say a 5 mile limit per post in the politics forum. That would mean you would have to go out and huff it for 5 miles before you gave a response to any political baiting.

For example, instead of having a back and forth with Moneyman or Steam, I would have to ride a few miles before I responded. They would be in the same situation, bound by honor. Calmer heads might prevail.

If you want to cut and paste then the rule would be 15 miles per post.

I'm ok with the miles per post thing, but I don't believe its relevant to me and you.

yes, you'd get 40 posts a week and 200 miles but all of it would be in 5 mile increments at all hours of the day. That is how I see it.

But--doesn't the fact that 60 or so miles of a century yeasterday was (Trail Trek was yesterday in Nebraska) into a 25 mph headwind, doesn't that count for more than 20 posts? ;)

I can see some posters here needing to rack up at least 50 miles/day.

miles between posts? That is the question. I just went 12 after my last post so I think I am safe in either case.

I get around 6.2 miles per post.

I'd prefer miles per word, including quoted material and signature junk. Here goes 15 miles.
