I understand that noise/buzz is associated w/ your hub when coasting and is a characteristic of each brand of hub. My new rear hub is louder than my old shimano fh3300 and I guess that shouldn't concern me. However, when I mounted the bike on an indoor trainer (rear wheel not in contact w/the trainer's flywheel and I was not actually on bike) and spun the wheel, I could feel the vibrations associated w/ the buzz in my hand which was on the bar and break hood. Is this normal? Is this amount of buzz being eaten up by the road when I'm actually on a ride? Is vibration running through your bike normal?

Vibrations from any part of the bike can be felt in the bars in most cases. Whether it is normal depends on your hub - some are louder/vibrate more than others.
