Ah, the classic Nigerian scam! The scammers go by different names and represent themselves to be in/from different countries, but the Modus Operandi is always the same;
a cashiers check for well over the amount of sale, sent by 'client' in the U.S. and the excess funds to be sent via Western Union or MoneyGram to his 'shipping agent'.

I've made it my hobby to play along with these scammers and get them to spend their money on these counterfeit cashiers checks and FedEx Express. I mean after all it's fair isn't it? Who's the fox in the henhouse?

See my check collection here: http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?postid=15644#poststop

Add these names to the list of scammers:
Jose Raul, a "Minner(people who remove resources from the earth)" from Sydney Australia
Jimmy Van Roy, same text, but no location.
Some slimey stuff out there!

I thought the 'minner' was from Portugal! :)

Just got an e-mail from a guy named Lawrence Floyd in Portugal trying to buy my frame using a certified/cashiers cheque. So watch out for that one too..
