Friend is selling them for a good price. just want to know what would you pick?
vectors have good reviews, are nice looking, but heavy and the rd-400's are problematic but extremely light.
can anyone give an insight on the production model durability?
2003 vectors
2004 fsa's
thanks again.

As a qualifier, I have no information to offer on the FSA's, but I have had a set of vector pros for 2.5 years and have around 6000 miles on them. All that I have ever done to them is regreased the rear hub once about 1.5 years ago, otherwise, I have never had to touch them except to inflate or change tires. I've crashed on them, hit large pot holes, bunny hopped curbs, and they haven't budged. They are very stiff, and do not wobble at all. The reduced spoke count and 30mm rim depth I imagine has some aerodynamic benefit, but I couldn't back that up with data or even comparison to other wheels because I never change these out regardless of season, weather, racing or training. I guess you can basically say I'm a big fan, and would love to get ahold of another set, maybe a tubular set. I'm sure there are many other experiences, but one of the shop mechanics I used to work with, who encouraged my to get them, recommended them without hesitation and has used them as his commuter/general purpose wheels for 3+ years. They are a little heavier in comparison, but even there, they really aren't that bad. Hope this helps.
