I pass this sign everyday on the way to school and then see the other side on the way home. This is in front of an electronics shop in Northern Baltimore City. This is not a TDF reference, just to show you never know where a cyclist may lurk.....

When do you plan to ride the towpath.

We may swing by to say hi.

My what an enjoyable commute that must be.

No wonder you long to ride on the C&O Towpath.

Unfortunately I was not on 2 wheels, I have not yet found a safe route to school. I am in the final stages of preparation for the ride, I am driving down to College Park Bicycles today to pick up the "Bob nutz" so I can ride with the loaded trailer in training next week. I found some panaracer size 37 tires to run on the front of the bike and a 32 on the back I forgot about fenders though so I may end up running 32 on both wheels.

I beleive we are starting in Cumberland on like the 30th. We are trying to be a little flexible with our start date. We are going to do some fully loaded dry runs up here this week. I'll update as we get closer.
Thanks for all your advice and support guys! :D

A loaded tour coming soon ? Don't forget the camera, and a ride report when you are back.

I am very excited about the prospect of sharing my first tour report with RBR when I return although it will be nothing compared to your wonderful posts.
