Hey folks, I'm moving to Tulsa some time next week, and I was wondering if someone could point me to some clubs for daily/weekly rides. Alternatively, if anyone's looking for someone to train/ride with, and i can keep up with you, I'm interested. I'm an intermediate mountain biker and road biker. On our local rides out here, I normally ride with the B group.

Anyway, can't wait to get back to Tulsa and do some riding. Hope to meet some of you soon.

The wednesday night ride is great. About 100-200 show up. go west accross the river on 21st and turn north at the first light. you will see all the cars and people on the left side of the street. people of all abilities are there and it starts at 5:30-6:00. people role out at different times. Also if mtb is your thing, Turkey mountain is great, very technical trails. Go west of the river on 71st and turn north on Elwood. The parking lot is about 1/4 mile up on the right.

So have you made it Tulsa yet? I live and ride in Tulsa. The Wednesday night rides are great, lots of people, lots of fun. There is a wide variety of people and skill level and different routes to take. Many of us ride on other days/nights of the week. There are a lot or road and MTB riders....what type of skill level are you looking for? The wheelmen are probably the most serious group of riders in the area, so it depends on what you are looking for.....If you want to show up for a WNR let me know and I'll introduce you to some people with similiar skills.....

about 5-6 riders this afternoon (Sunday) near the Univ. of Tulsa campus. I mainly ride MTB now after a nasty road crash many years ago, but I am lurking around the roadie circles and feeling that buzz again. Maybe it's time I got over my road fears and get back onto the skinny tires again.
