So after 2800 miles and 3 short months together, the EX is no more. It developed cracks in the chainstays and became about as stiff as a wet noodle. Great riding bike while it lived...

That's a sweet bike; too bad about the old one cracking. I guess that's bound to happen sometime on light carbon frames. Just one question: aren't you somewhat weary of going with the same frame manufacturer after one of their previous models failed on you??

Not worried at all...

Sinclair Imports told me that they've had a couple come back broken in the same way. I'll try the Damocles and if something happens with it, I'll go a diiferent route. I can get Scott frames cheap...
