I inadvertently made a double post, and wanted to delete one. Clicked on the "edit" button for the thread (which does, after all, say "edit/delete" when one puts the cursor on it), but didn't see any "delete" function on the edit page. I haven't been able to find a description of the proper procedure anywhere...

Only moderators or administrators can delete a thread completely. If you post a link of where your double post is, I can remove it.
