I dont know if a thread concerning this brand has been posted before so I'm gonna ask anyways...

I tuned a guy's Benotto today and found it to be quite a bike. It had Campy Super Record, Mavic something-40 rims, Modolo brakes, Campy Super Record cranks with a Specialized chainring.

Yesterday, another guy walked into a shop and he and I started talking about retro bikes. I told him a guy brought in his Benotto to be tuned. He told me that this particular Benotto was a specialty model and only 500 or so were made. The bottom bracket shell had a heart shape cutout to suck in the vortex from the front wheel to improve aerodynamics. I dont about that but the cutout looks nice.

I dont quite remember the model name but it was painted in a champagne color with blue decals.

does anyone know anything about Benotto bikes or this particular bike I'm writing about?
