View Full Version : Saddle Profile

I'm looking for a saddle that has less of a "sagging" profile than my Koobi Xenon. I love the look of the Xenon on my bike, but in order to make it feel just right, I have to tilt the nose so far up that it looks ridiculous. (Front more than 1" higher than the back). I'm thinking that the main reason for this is that the rear part of the saddle (where I actually sit) slopes down toward the front, which makes me feel like I'm sliding forward and puts too much weight on my arms. When I angle the seat back, the part I sit on is relatively flat, thus shifting my weight back and relieving my arms of that burden.

So, does anyone have any ideas for a saddle that has a flatter profile and maybe a lower nose? I like my weight to be squarely on my sit bones, not in my crotch... I like the look of the SLR XP - it looks like it's pretty flat. I cringe looking at Lance's saddle, which looks like it's got a big lip raising up in the back (i.e. it looks like a slide that would push forward too much for me). Any and all suggestions appreciated.
