I had a thread a while ago about my neighbor having this bike. Well he moved and gave the bike to me.

I've got too many so I'm interested in what Dave Hickey called parting it out and selling them on ebay.

It's got campy record (circa 1973) and the wheels are campy (sew ups). How much would a set be worth now? I imagine the frame wouldn't be worth much, it's pretty thrashed.

Any ideas welcome.

I'll let the Campy experts reply as to value but I will tell you this. The parts are worth much more individually than they are as a group. Sell the brake calipers, brake levers, crank, bottom bracket, derailleur, etc individually. It's more work but you will get the highest dollar.

Wheels are a toss up. Either sell them as complete set or take them apart. At times, I've taken apart wheels and sold the hubs more more money than the wheels are worth. Some people don't want to pay the high cost of shipping wheelsets.

I'll take it apart and sell them separately. I've got a friend in the office who I think can do the Ebay part. I'll clean the parts and then take pictures.

Will my Shimano crank puller work on these? And are the pedals different from both screw toward the back, like pedals are now?
