I am getting my first single speed. It has a few things I want to change. I got syntace bullhorn handlebars with cane creek 200 TT brakes and some clip pedals.
I would like to see some your single speeds to get some inspiration! Thanks all!

Nice touch with the orange brake pads. Did you use primo chain tensioners?

Thanks much.
Surly Tuggnut, actually. Just on the drive side, though the idea of symmetry flirts with me.
Hope this helps with the inspiration somehow. . .

I keep coming back to this pic because I like the lugs and the color. The black and orange are great together. It looks like you had the bike repainted, yes? What bike is this?

Thanks for the kind words, Thommy.
I actually had the bike sandblasted and powdercoated a metallic color by the name of "Tucker Orange," then a clearcoat over it. The bike itself is a Gilmour (Andy Gilmour is a custom builder in Tucson, AZ) which I picked up for a good price at a swap meet last year. According to the original owner, it's from '89 or so but I have no idea what the tubeset is. The build-up was a mix of Campy and Superbe-pro, 126mm rear spacing, Campy dropouts, and old wolber rims built up on crappy sakae hubs, but most of that's gone now. ;)
And that, I'm afraid, is about all I can tell you about what the bike was. Glad you liked the pics. . .
