As far as the the hill climb on Sun goes - I'll probably pass. It's a guaranteed suffer-fest.

I've never done this ride but I have lusted after it in my heart!
I'd love to do this ride but it's a long ways to go, about 400 miles from San Antonio.

Due higher gasoline prices caused by Katrina, I cancelled my hotel reservations and thus the trip. In place of the Cyclefest, I rode the Hill Country Classic, which is a local ride. Much cheaper, btw.

Still, I'd like to do the Cyclefest. Maybe next year.

Yup, I've done the loop from Utopia -> Vanderpool -> Leakey -> Utopia on a number of occasions. It's certainly a great ride.

I just recently ran across the Hill Country Classic website and am thinking about doing it. I wouldn't be able to make Friday's ride but would still be able to do Saturday & Sunday.
