I'm interested in finding out who makes track frames between 40 and 49 centimeters. I have a little web site for junior track racers (http://www.juniorvelo.com/), and I'd like to be able to give them some options.

I know that Fuji offers a 43cm frame, and Bianchi has a 49. What else is out there? Reasonably-priced bikes are most in demand, but if you know a custom builder who likes to build small track bikes, please post. We occasionally have a well-funded junior or a small adult with money to spend.

Road bike conversions are not out of the question, but I'd rather focus on frames with backward-facing dropouts and standard track hub widths.

Thanks,
Steve

Do a search for used Keirin frames. There are tons in the very low 50s. I've seen alot of used ones on www.e-framebank.com but there are other sites. Bridgestone etc. sold by little Japanese racers for pretty cheap. Used though. Right now e-framebank.com has alot more road frames than track. Good luck

I wish I could help but I'm not aware of any.... Have you checked with John at businesscycles.com? He is very involved with the track community.

That is a great picture....I'd like to see more youth getting involved with the sport..
