I am working on my first fixed gear. It is a 1979 Raleigh SuperCourse. I am going to chop a pair of Nitto drop bars to be similar to TT bars. Because this will be a commuter in the city I will have at least one brake. WHat levers do people use? Can I use the levers that a triathlon bike would use in the bar ends? Or is a regular lever better?

THANKS

Depends on the angle you made the cut... TT brake levers might not fit in the hole. You're better off picking up some cyclocross bar top levers. Be sure to get something to cap off the bar ends... corks work.
