10 spd Ultegra is to be introduced in October. No retailers want to get stuck with old inventory, and there is less of a demand for full gruppos because educated consumers (who use performance and the like) are not as willing to pay retail for a soon-to-be obsolete components.

I just ordered one a (12/27) at excelsport.

They were willing to match the price that Alfred E Bike had running on the FSA compact cranks. This was in December when most places were back ordered for months. I needed the Octalink version and they still did it even though Alfred E Bike only had Isis in stock.
