Ayone use these? Description seems aimed at riding around in the snow. Also, they look a bit heavy at 450g. I was hoping to avoid the Tufo as I have experienced a lot fo flats w/ the cheaper ones. Any other options besides the Grifo?

The problem with the contis and vittorias are that even though they may say 32, they are more like 28. I have never found tires that small to be an advantage, except in certian types of mud. I'll be running Dugasts, Challenge and Gommitalia tires this year. I have sets in 30, 32 and 34. I'm probably going to order up the Gommitalias today, they are the only ones I don't have experience riding. They are a lot like the Challenge, I think- they also have the grifo tread which is fine. I'm pretty sure the casing of the Challenge is cotton and the Gommitalia is polyester. I have a couple sets of cotton Dugasts in 30, one pair is the older made in france ones and one is the current made in holland type with the slightly different cross typhoon tread. I also have a pair of the pink silk ones in 32
