Embattled cycling outfit Cofidis have suspended their team in the face of revelations about their inquiry into alleged drug taking. A team statement said that recent allegations meant that they would not compete in Sunday's Paris-Roubaix and subsequent races until they deem it appropriate to return.

The team's action comes on the same day that French sports daily L'Equipe published details of the inquiry into drug-taking allegations against Cofidis riders.

Man, all these drug scandals are really disturbing. The shadow of doubt that is cast over all our favorite riders...all the great victories....were they legit? I have so much respect for the sport and the suffering that the riders endure. I just hope for everybody's sake that this will all sort itself out. I wonder how this will affect David Millar's Olympic hopes? Is he for a real or a doper? What about Astarloa?
