I have a donor bike that has 10 speed Ultegra. My question is can I purchase a 9 speed ring and it still work with all the 10speed componenets? I used to run 10 speed Campy on a Race face 9 speed ring. Can I do it with Shimano? TA rings say 9/10 speed, so I am assuming I can do the same with a Salsa 9 speed ring?
