Nashbar has had some good sales on tubbie rims recently, but I'm not sure what they have in 32 hole rims at the moment. I bought some Araya rims here: http://www.businesscycles.com/trwheel.htm boneman 09-07-2005, 10:38 AM I've got some Campag Omega Strada's. They weight about 460gr each. Superbly made and strong. Braking surfaces are not machined. Send me a PM if you're interested. Scotty2Hotty 09-07-2005, 04:50 PM nm... Sorry. Johnnysmooth 09-09-2005, 11:34 AM I've got a pair of older campy/gp4s, hardly used tubulars the retro part, they are 8pd I believe, freewheel set-up (not cassette) interested, just send a private email. Dave_Stohler 09-11-2005, 04:32 PM If you are looking for cheap and strong, there was a good Sun semi-aero rim that Nashbar used to put their logo on. Sure wasn't anything great (the join was a bit rough), but a quick grind with a dremel could fix that quick. FWIW, these rims are really strong and keep true quite well. You may end up with stress cracks after a few years of abouse, but as cheap as they are, it's worth the risk. A lot of CX'ers here use them. |
