Leave 8:30 AM from Main Street and Hebron Ave in Glastonbury. Ride down to the shore, along the shoreline and back. No fees, no food tables, no fund raising, no free wheels. Lots of pretty scenery, a few manageable hills, a ferry ride. No Sag Wagon or rider support other than eachother.

That is the best ride description ever, bravo! Unfortunately I'm on the wrong coast...

We stopped at 3 convenience stores, for one crash, and to take the ferry boat ride from Rocky HIll back to Glastonbury. Riding was definitely comfortable but not totally lazy. The route worked really well for fixed gear riding. Surprisingly, nobody felt much different from how we feel at the end of any other century ride.

Well, except for the guy that crashed at 50 miles (me) and had to bail out with a broken wrist. S**t happens. :(

Sorry to hear about that. Bummer. Hope you're doing better. I'd like to join you guys if you do this again anytime soon.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Things seem to be healing well, if slowly. I'm able to ride my commuter fixie reasonably well now, and hopefully I'll be back to something like full function before the winter is over.
I suspect we will do it again. Dave did map out an excellent route (at least the half that I saw). Where are you located?
