I don't have a direct connection to this event, but thought I'd pass it along. Starts at the new bike shop near Amante Coffee in N Boulder and ends at a part at Redfish after the ride. Looks like it's $10 donation or more to get in and that gets you beads.

Another New Orleans Charity Event I'm passing along...my wife works at this club.

Do the Ride Thing

What, when, where, why?
What: this is an indoor cycling event
When: Saturday October 1st from 9am till 3pm
Where: Mountain’s Edge Group Fitness Studio (303-494-5000 for more information)

Why: to raise $$$ for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. What do I need to do to participate?
a. Raise or contribute $100 per hour that you’d like to ride
b. Sign up at the front desk of the club or contact us to let us know what time you plan to ride and for how long

3. What types of money is accepted?
a. The Red Cross would prefer checks made payable to the “American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund”, cash will be accepted. We cannot accept credit card donations for this particular event.

4. How long can I ride?
a. You can ride for up to 6 hours, but you have to ride in hour increments, you can sign up for separate hours ie…9am and again at 2pm or do them in sequential order ie…9 and 10am, any variation is accepted

5. What if I can’t raise $100 for the hour I’d like to ride?
a. Check in with us before you decide to skip it altogether, we do have donations available from others who can’t ride, but wanted to donate

6. What if I’d like to donate, but I can’t ride that day?
a. Please leave your name and donation at the front desk, there’s a separate sheet for non-rider donations. Again, checks should be made payable to “American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.” We’ll distribute the funds to riders who need them.
