After a couple of years almost exclusively on carbon rims (303s, 404/canecreeks and reynolds stratus) , I am finding myself increasingly drawn back to alloy rims: the carbons are great for the flats and climbing, but steep decents are pretty damn hairy, and if its wet out they can be outright dangerous and I dont care what pads are on there. The Zipps would be a no brainer, if only they were available as tubulars.
