Anyone using these? Everything I have read say they only fit up 700x23. I run 28's on my cross bike. Are they really that tight? Any help would be great. I have not been able to track them down at the bike shop to see how wide they really are.

There are 2 sizes, 18-23c and 25-32c. I haven't seen them up close, but I'll probably be getting some of the big ones pretty soon. Check excelsports.com or airbomb.com, they both carry the big ones.

I have not come across any sites offering the larger size. I will check it out.

As in, Performance brand 700x26 and Soma brand 700x26 for commuting. Because I used the quick-strap option instead of the longer-term zip tie approach, they would occasionally get off center and the tire would rub a support arm. But overall they worked well. You'll want something between the feet and your seatstay/fork surfaces to prevent scratching; I used a strip of electrical tape.

While we're on the subject, I no longer need mine. They're used but not damaged, black with the lower half painted white for visibility. The paint's easy enough to remove or touch up. Just in case you're interested.

I run up to 32's sometimes so I kinda want the clearance

Yep I think you want the big ones. I have the smaller size, over top of 700X23's and I don't see a huge amount of extra room there.

Just got 'em last week - $49.

When you can buy a set of full-coverage fenders from the same manufacturer at the same place for $32... that's a lot for partial fenders. When I still had my racing frame, though, I was glad I had them.
