I have a Velomax Orion II wheelset. The wheelset came with a thin washer/spacer that was to be installed on the drive hub before mounting a cassette. I seem to recall that the washer is needed to mount a Dura Ace 10 speed cassette on the drive hub and not needed to mount a 9 speed cassette . Knowing my memory I could have it backwards. I can't seem to find any instructions on this matter. Does anyone know for sure?

I don't know about Velomax wheels but I do know that 9 speed cassettes are wider and 10 speed requires a spacer (and is included if you purchase a retail 10 speed cassette).
