I've been wanting one too, LBS here in norcal says the same thing. Tried online shops, but no one ships Raleigh bikes.

I'm not sure if it was demo or an employee's bike (it looked as if it had been out on the road), but I saw a Rush Hour in what must have been close to a 55 cm in a Virginia LBS called Spokes, Etc. just a few days ago. This was in their Vienna, VA store. It may be worth a call or an e-mail. Cool looking bike.
