Based on some replies to this>>

thread, I am considering organizing a ride of RBR regulars in NJ (and surrounding areas). The options with respect to dates are somewhat open at this time, so I am soliciting replies for dates that could work for any potential participants. If we do something in September, saturdays could work for me, otherwise I will be doing CX races on Saturday in Oct. Assuming that the ride is in October, a more likely possibility, (or November, I ride outside all year 'round), would be Sunday morning, with October 6 being a good choice for me. I am open to suggestions however.

With respect to routes, we could do BiknBen's Bear Mt. ride, or do a variation of a ride that I mentioned in the thread above, through Morris County, or something else. To make it interesting without limiting potential participation I think the distance would be in the 75+ range, but depending on who is interested, we could adjust that as well.

Reply to this thread if you would like to come along.

I'll check the schedule and get back to you. I wouldn't mind a new RBR loop and I'm not familiar with the ride that you mentioned although I've heard about it often.

I'd be up for an RBR ride thru Jersey, if the date works. Oct 2 is the SIBA Pumpkin Patch Pedal, which I'm already committed to. Oct 16 is the Bucks County, PA, Covered Bridges Ride, which I did last year and will probably do again this time 'round. The majority of my riding takes place in Somerset/Morris/Hunterdon counties, so I'd go for something there, or be open to doing a ride in a different locale for a change.
