I am going to be studying abroad in Japan this semester and I was trying to find some information on Japanese bike builders before I went. I will be in Fukuoka and was thinking about having a kieren bike built while I was there.
Anyone have any ideas on where I might find info on kieren builders?

I understand that Richard Sachs reveres the work of Yoshiaki Nagasawa.

I've read that Keirin bikes have to be built to exacting standards specified by the association. Only about 50 builders (all in Japan) are registered.

Good luck. Let us know haw it works out.
