I've commuted here and there to my past 2 jobs in Scottsdale and Colorado, but today was my first commute as an "I don't have a car, so I get to work by bike" commuter.
I do still have a car, I'm just trying to convince myself it doesn't exist.

North Scottsdale to Phoenix (16th St and Northern.) No pictures yet, but hopefully by the end of the week. Today I just focused on getting here in one piece.

Pretty uneventful too. I just need to work out one half-mile stretch where I resorted to the sidewalk for my own safety.

I love the Phoenix area. Keep an eye out for Bigbill senior, big guy on a midnight blue cannondale pushing a huge gear. I have to use a section of sidewalk about two blocks long to get to the MUT, so I feel your pain. Stay wary of the "goldfish".

I think I read before that BB Sr. is in Gilbert, no? I'll keep an eye out for him if I'm down that way.
