hey all people from Bay Area:

A couple weeks ago my friend found a Trek Project One 54cm frame just laying on the side of the road on his block. (Cornell St. in Berkeley) It is all gun-metal gray w/ light grey decals. I think it's either a 5200 or 5900 frame. the front fork dropouts are comletey shattered off, but other than that its in perfect condition, bubble wrap, etc. If it's yours or someone you know's, tell me and I'll tell him for you. Thanks a lot

Sounds like it came off a roof rack after someone forgot to tie down the rear wheel.

Another thought: Was it before or after the Grand Prix?
