I have put myself into a bind. I bought airline tickets, hotel room and rental car for a Toronto Maple Leafs game on December 10th, but I did not realize that the game would be sold out by now! I tried ticketmaster to no avail. I am checking with brokers but they are exhorbitant! Does anyone have any solid advice on how I may be able to get 2 tickets legally without taking out a mortgage?

You'll probably get tickets if you stand outside of the arena before the game. There's always scalpers milling around selling tickets at inflated rates. Don't try that around playoff time or you will have to take out a mortgage. I envy you. I haven't seen my Leafs play in years. Enjoy.
