Just curious. I really screwed the pooch on this one: I live about a 3 minute bike ride from the course, and they had not 1, but 2 single speed divisions! And it was like 70 deg, dry, and sunny, although probably pretty dusty. What a dumba@@ I was for missing it!

...you really missed it. great course - great fun, even though it was certainly dusty. I don't think there could be a better single speed course. don't miss it next year.

I feel for ya. I missed it too. I was halfway to the race, but both my kids and my wife came down with a nasty flu virus. I'm on I-84 with kids puking in the back seat, and my wife hunched over in the passenger seat starting to turn green.

Yeah, that was fun. I just turned the car around and drove the 2 hours back home.

Got my family home and all set-up to sleep it off, so I went out for a couple hour ride on a beautiful sunny fall afternoon.

I came down with the same flu bug on monday, so I doubt I'll be worth a crap for the race this weekend.

Oh well, that's how my entire season has gone this year.
