Hey, folks, this is sort of a random question, but I have a 2005 49cm Axis. It has the narrow Deda Elementi 4Girls handlebars, which are way too narrow for my not-so-girlish shoulders. I found a good deal on a Ritchey Biomax, which is more my fit, but I have been cautioned that it's the regular clamp size, not the oversize.

The upshot is, since I am at work and my bike is at home, does anyone know off-hand whether the Axis comes with regular size bars or oversize? My guess is yes, but I'd hate to buy the wrong thing.

My Axises are '00 and '01, and were all standard (26.0) clamp size; I haven't seen anything in the listing of specs that indicates that they went oversized at any point since, and I'd expect some mention of it if they had.

Cool, that's what I suspected. It's a good enough deal that if I have to resell it, I can.

My wife rides a 49cm Axis and her 05 came with standard 26.0 bars & stem. She also had the narrow stock bars switched out at purchase.
