Hey all,
I actually live in Carson City, NV, but we will soon be coming over the hills to ride during the cold snowy stuff that makes the riding lousy here during the winter. I was wondering if you could give me some ideas on where to ride in the Motherlode country. I've ridden some around Folsom and Placerville but would like to know of some less travelled routes if they exist.

Slightly OT: I'm going to race CX in Condon Park on Sunday, coming from Roseville.
Any idea how long the drive is from Sierra College on 80?

Cool. I normally race in the Bay Area, never up North. Should be interesting since my training time this week will be minimal... There's something to be said for lowered expectations...
HA! But from a pic, you never can tell if it's the first or last lap...

Thanks Squizzle. I'll check out the site. I'm might just come down. It'll be a nice change from the cold we'll be having up here soon enough.

My wife really likes to stay in Nevada City at the B&B's there. She likes to ride as much as I do so I'll probably take you up on the offer for ride routes. I'll PM you in November or so and then come check out the area. Thanks for the offer on the info.
