Where can i find a LBS in the Toronto area that sells Trek bikes, such as 2100 2005 models. I'm interested in buying one for $1500 but most stores sell for $2100 can someone help?

Most of those stores listed dude, either have no bikes on display or don't have one in my size, only womens color and saddle type. Prices on them are higher then they should be.

I understand you feel like you were somehow insulted. Here's the problem with your post: you don't mention what size you are, you only mention that you want a Trek LBS. So when the guy showed you the list of dealers he is basically suggesting

Should we call around for you and find out who has them in stock? I can understand you posting asking if we know any good shops that sell Trek, but it's a bit silly to get mad at someone for showing you a list of Trek dealers and expecting you to do your own homework.

Sorry that i was not concise enough in my post.
But i'm not MAD, dogs get mad just wanted someone who read my post to give me some word of mouth of a particular dealer or experience in buying one themselves. Maybe thats my fault in not forming my question in that regard. Thats what the forum discussion is about to share information. As for making someone feel like a baby in showing me the dealer network i thank them. But it was not neccessary because i already done my homework been or seen most dealers, except the ones that are not posted in the list which brings me to my initial post. As for bike size or not mentioning the bike isn't it common sense that a LBS has a vast number of Trek bike types.
In the future i will be more specific in my post. The only problem was i tried to save some time in rambling on about a bike that nobody cares about. Just trying to be brief sorry, just frustrated in finding a bike shop at this time of year actually displaying bikes.
Because when you see the bike online at the store and when i go there they have no bikes on display, only to find they don't display bikes because idiots like me want to buy one at a bargain and they rather sell them when the weather warms up.

Did that, didn't have one in my size, also tried the one in Richmond Hill, had one in womans type plus all prices were $1750.
I saw two at a bike show one place was in Cambridge somewhere and another don't know the name of the place for the price of $1500.

The only other place i can think of is Skiis and Biikes on Don Mills Rd or in Mississauga. But you've probably gone there too.

Good luck w/ your shopping.

Been at Skies and Bikes they don't have bikes on display anymore, or at least till Spring. There prices are high, i was there a month ago and they had a 2004 Allez Elite for $1150 and the Trek i wanted but the price was $1900 or so way to high for my liking.

Decided not to buy a road bike this year. Its pointless now, going another direction fixing up my broken down MTB with high end parts so most of my money will go to that. Maybe a bad mistake, but i got to ride something next year.
Thanks for the help anyway, wont be bothering anyone with questions about road bikes.

hey man - don't let the internet get to you - I'm a smart ass with everyone.

Stores here in Edmonton have the 2100 for 1600 bucks. Call United Cycle on Gateway Blvd (unitedcycle.com) and have them ship one to you in tdot.
