disclaimer: I'm new to commuting and even newer to fenders.
My front freddy fender can pick-up a decent vibration every now and then, doesn't hit the tire - more of an irritation (for now). I can't push the fender closer to the tire to tighten things up. Any ideas? Or just live with it?

Hmm. Consider putting a small weight on the fender near where the vibration gets going. Initially, you might try just taping a fishing weight or two to the fender. If that fixes things, consider putting something useful there (for example, if the vibration is down in back, consider putting on a mud flap. You get a little weight to damp the vibration, and the utility of not having wet feet). Lights or reflectors are also good weighting candidates.

The freddys do have mud flaps and a light or a reflector would hit my foot but maybe a heavy washer would do the trick
....duct tape.
You should always bring duct tape and WD40 with you when you ride.
Duct Tape for things that shouldn't move but do.
WD40 for things that should move but don't.

well it only took me a few months but some old tubes cut as rubber spacers between the fork and the fender bolts did the trick. stealthy now.
