I travel for business on occasion, and spend up to a month on the road. Fortunately, it's usually in the same location so I'm considering bringing my bike with me when it's worthwhile. I'm considering purchasing a carrying case, but have a few questions.
1) Any recommendations on a case? I don't mind spending the $$$ if the case is 100% secure.
2) Would you recommend shipping it, or checking it in as luggage (probably comes with a $$$ charge) when flying?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Anyone???????????????

This has been asked many times before, perhaps hence the lack of response. Try using the search box on the top left of the page, you'll find that this has been discussed many times before.

FWIW, I use a BikeProUSA case.

Thanks a lot, you're right, should have done that in the first place. Just a novice on this site.....

- bike carrying case: IronHorse seems to be the most popular. ~250$.

- alternative, lighter and more convenient: Bike Friday. Rides very nicely and packs in a regular suitcase.
