at a cross race recently a nationally known coach watched a guy roll one of these off rim and crash a number of riders. he asked everyone casually if they liked this company's tires and didn't get one yes.

I have ridden Tufo Tubs & Clincher Tubs for several years with no problem at all. Tubs roll off the rim because they're not glued properly, Clincher Tubs because they're not fitted properly. I've ridden 3-4 miles on a flat tyre of both types (forgot to put sealant in when fitting!) without any mishaps.
