This just tops it for me. Plus, seller wants $5.00 shipping for it!

Nobody has bid yet. I'm surprised someone hasn't tried to auction off the dust bunnies they find under the couch.

A rusty chain sells for essentially $5 shipped but i cant sell a shiny 120mm titec stem for $9 shipped? Ebay is wacked out...hope the buyer realized that the "surface corrosion" does not just come off so easily, and they could of had a chain like that for free by looking in their LBS's dumpster.

Wow.

I thought this was a joke... but the seller seems to be a "reputable" seller with a feedback of 4261.

You should ask him if he'd accept $20... and then tell him that you accept paypal. ;)

I learned this the hard way. I helped tune the dept. store BMX bike of my son's friend by cleaning the chain. Although the chain had survived without lubricant for the first 10 years of its existence, it broke about 2 miles after my cleaning and lubing it. I thought this was just a coincidence, but I've since learned that it's well establised that cleaning a rusted out chain can be a sure way of causing cracks in the pins, resulting in failure.
