If you have been trying to save $2 on a tube or something, cut it out. If you're using cheap performance junk tubes, just stop now.

Flatted my last performance tube couple days ago, popped in a Michelin aircomp a1. Yeah, it cost a whole $5.95. Oh, no!

Non-threaded valve stem, replaceable valve core. Track pump actually GOES ON and seals smoothly without a hassle, twisty bit on presta valve doesn't get tweaked sideways easily and spill air as I try to fill or check pressure.

Bought 3 more, took out the tubes in my other 3 tires for spares. For a two dollar difference, man, what a pain out of my side.

While Michelins are my first choice for tubes, nothing beats the Supergo special of 10 tubes for $20 that pop up every once in awhile. I cannot justify Michelins for my commuter bikes.

Frankly, sometimes those replaceable valve cores can be a bit of a chore, as they can loosen when I try to loosen the valve.

Hey, if you want to spend more money for tubes that will flat easier, more power to you. I'll stick with the cheaper, heavier-duty tubes that never let me down. I average about 1 flat per 500 miles on my $1.70 JensonUSA tubes...
