Planning a summer ride from Saratoga Springs to the Corning area, and just now starting to map-out the route.

Points along the way probably include: Amsterdam, Carlisle, Cooperstown, Norwich. Will attempt to do it in 3-4 days so not much time to hang in any one area.

Any good hints/tips for the journey? Are Rt60, US20, Rt31, Rt12, and Rt17 bike worthy? Allowed? Known cheap motels along the way? :)
