What are the details of this club? Is it solely based on the road rides or are mntn rides included? club fees, shop discounts, ect... just a little more info

I was at The Bike Zone in Hyannis to get my new/old Lemond built up and paid my $35. Here's the deal.

Not a racing club, but a group ride organization trying to stitch together some of the informal group rides around the Cape (there's a Falmouth group ride, a Cotuit ride, an ongoing Hyannis, and another group around Dennis). There will be a Wednesday and Sunday ride, more show-and-go, round 20-35 miles.

Discounts etc. being offered on gear, newsletter/website in process.

If weather is evil then mountain biking will happen. Bike Zone has some loaners for those of us who live on the road.

The group sounds like a pretty good idea. It has been a little hard to get out on the road since moving here( from Rockport). The time I get off work doesn't leave much time for daylight, and I don't really know about riding around here in the dark since the area is still a little foreign to me. I think the group ride will make it easier to get on the road even if it is at night, I do have a light. I haven't had alot of time to explore the mntn bike trails. I hit trail of tears, but only did an in and out cuz of time. I'll have to explore alot more later.
What time are the Wed and Sun rides?
Where do I found out about the Falmouth rides; times and locations?
Are there any mtn rides out of these shops?

Call 508-775-3299 Bike Zone in Hyannis for Mnt rides. I work at the Falmouth store 508-540-2453 and will be doing Sunday rides at 10am. Call on Saturday to make sure we are going. Not fast pace. We are hoping the club takes off so we can have a road race team, Mnt,24 hour mnt team. Tri riders are welcome also. Trying to get them together also. This should end up being a all around cycling club.Want to keep it friendly,no stuck-up Cat2's!!
