Yeah, I believe so. Thanks go to Joel Metz, who translated and posted that article.

It is cool. I like the part about "The manner of crossing a thicket". I know someone who's had to do that more than once to evade a ranger and a ticket for poaching singletrack.

One of the most common mistakes I see today is the too-early remount after an uphill run-up. Just like Christophe says, wait to remount until the slope is gone!

That was a very interesting read.

Can you imagine the outcry today if somebody had a cross course that went over half the stuff shown in those pictures and described in the article. Now that is jungle-cross.
