I have an old Trek 660 frame and I need to change the stem. Does anyone know what size stem I would need to fit in the threaded fork? Is it 1"? Measure the old one or look on the quill.Quill diameter for a threaded 1" is 22.2mm.

If you can't find a replacement anywhere else, Rivendell carries several: www.rivbike.com Just for the record,there were some old Schwinn and a few others that used an undersized quill and smaller inside steerer diameter on an otherwise nominal 1" threaded setup.Not an issue on treks tho.
