We did the Telluride to Moab route. Now they also offer a Durango to Moab route.

Six of us rode it in July of 2001. Some were in really good shape, some not so much, but everyone had a great time. Good route directinos and maps, huts were stocked really well, no complaints here.
You don't need to be a hard core mtn biker to do it. No real technical riding as the majority of the route is on forest service roads.
