Approximately 7000 miles commuting (my computer stops working in the rain).
Drove to work 6 times, three of those times were when my hand was cut open and had not been stitched yet.
2120 miles on the race bike.
Longest ride - 112 miles for the Dick Evans Road Race.
Two crashes, two new scars and the scar on my right lower leg is much larger now.
Nine stitches in my left hand, not bike related, but it affected my riding since it was in the webbing between my thumb and forefinger.
Four stitches in my head, long story.

I rode twenty miles yesterday, I had intended to ride to Diamond Head and back from the house which is 50 miles, but I turned back when the rain got too heavy.

Rode 50 miles today from Kapiolani Park in Waikiki to Waimanolo via Makapu'u. The surf was pretty flat at Sandy Beach. Lots of rain and sand on the road. Could be worst, it could be cold.

My goal is 10K miles this year along with some top fives on some road races.

My computer says 2090 miles, but since it is wireless my headlight causes interference sometimes. I would estimate about 2400 miles.

Not bad considering all my non-bicycle results and responsibilities this year. I had a lot of success and happiness off the bike as well as on it.

My first year riding was great!

Total Mileage: 1925 miles from 1/23 to 12/25
Longest Ride: 66 miles on 11/6
Best Ride: Set personal record climbing Highway 9 on 10/23 (1:12:50)
Worst Ride: See above--didn't save anything for the ride home (loop, not out & back)
Injury: Trochanteric bursitis from my only crash (on 3/7 and it still hurts)

So far in 2006: 5 miles (stupid hurricanes)

Best ride: any day I rode to work and left the car at home
Longest ride: 75 miles in Northern VA

I had more fun riding this year than last (2004 I had 5002 miles). In 2004 I was obsessed with meeting the milage goal of 5000, this year I really just rode more for the fun of it - but I had some great rides in CO, UT, AZ on my road and MTB, and in DC on my fixie. I had a great 2005 even with moving, being gone alot because of the Army, and having knee surgery to remove some pesky screws. 2006 will be even better. Cheers!

480 hours, if I didn't screw up with the calculator.

best ride? Tough one...here are some of the "perfect" moments that come to mind:
Sunrise on the Amalfi Coast, fall colours and bamboo groves in the Izu penninsula in Japan, riding along a cool brook in the Ustou valley, passing through the crowds on the Soulor, heading up the Tourmalet with the clouds streaming by, racing a water sprite off the Cinque terre, etc, etc, etc.

Not one day goes by I am not amazed at how much good can can come from such a simple assemblage of metal, wire and rubber...

4841 miles since I built the bike up in May. The last 90 or so miles were in Mesa the week after Christmas. I live in the Salt Lake City area, so it was incredibly nice to be able to visit a place so warm and dry.

5 centuries this year. I plan to do several more this year in preparation for LOTOJA.

3100 miles...down from 4000 the year before

Best ride: so many. I think a solo 95 miler in early May when I only planned to do 50.

Worst: Day 2 of the Cincinnati MS 150. I started dehydrated having drunk too many beers the night before while eating a steak dinner (vs pasta). 95 degrees. 110 degrees heat index. Midday ride. Took a wrong turn and ended up doing an extra 15 miles. It just sucked. That day is only second barely to my other charity ride: Asheville JDRF ride. I was sick with a cold, hadn't slept a full nights' sleep in a week, then it was 50 and raining the day of the ride. I turned around at the 35 mile mark. The fun part was fooling everyone. All the riders I passed coming home thought I'd hit the 50 mile mark and was flying on a solo century.....I never told them. I crashed for hours when I got back to the hotel.

Goals for 2006:

4000 miles
Have 2000 miles in my legs before doing the Bike tour of Colorado the end of June.
Ride at 180lbs (now at 195lb after gaining 10lbs in 7 weeks due to a leg injury)
Do 6-10 centuries
Have fun doing all of the above

Best Ride I had so many good rides in 2005. It is hard to nominate just one of them. I did several rides with fellow RBRers; all of them were good and memorable.
But, if I had to narrow it to one ride, it would be my solo ride in June from Charlotesville, Virginia, to Hot Springs (The Homestead), Virginia. I took the train to Charlottesville the night before, stayed near the train station and set off the next morning. By the time that I was climbing Reeds Gap to the Blue Ridge, the temperatures were above 95 degrees. The 110 mile trip was pure hell. I had no support for the ride and bailing out along the way was not an option. The sense of accomplishment when I made it to Hot Springs turned that hell into pure joy.

I did 6 double centuries and a lot of training where we rode a century on both Sat & Sun and I managed to get:

I've only been riding since late August and I managed to squeeze out 896 miles. I fell short of my goal for 1000 miles unfortunately. If I hadn't had to work so much in Nov and December I would have done in easily.

Best ride: Hotter than Hell (50 miles) a huge ride that was great fun. Never seen that many people on bikes in my life!

Longest Ride: Cowtown Classic 100K (70 actual miles)

Worst Ride: Cowtown Classic- the wind was terrible (hurricane Katrina) but how many people can say they rode through a hurricane... well actually it was the remnants of the tropical storm, but the wind was horrible and in my face the whole time.

Goal for this year: 3000+ miles

10,708 on my bicis and 10,400 in the car in spite of missing three-four weeks in the Spring with some kinda' lung funk and a couple weeks in November with a lower back tweak.

Did several 400+ mi weeks and rode from Nickajack Dam outside Chattanooga to Destin, Florida with my local dawgs back in June - all on rural roads right down the middle of Alabama and all the way to the beach - highly recommed this !

Best ride by far, also favorite ride by far, and favorite century route ever by far; the Kid 1 Century in Hoover, Al. 60*, windy as all heck, overcast and threatenin' rain all day, and a course that was lifted from Liege and laid back down in N.Central Alabama, with features including chip-seal and potholed county roads, unbelievable number of short-steep hills, a stretch of chert railroad bed, and a 14% .6 mi grade one mile from the finish - 100.9 mi in 5'08" ridden with some of the coolest (and fastest guys) I've ridden with. All it lacked was rain to make it a perfect Euro Classics day.

I would'a paid double to do that one. Note to organizers -- don't change a thing this year (including weather).

6375 miles, which is my worst year since 2000. However, almost all of it was quality riding with loads of hills and an average of one or two stops max on a 50 miler. With a move, I had to get used to some new weather and rode out my front door in everything from 25 to 108 degrees farenheit. I probably rode solo for at least 6000 of the year's miles. I didn't do anything over 85 miles on a single ride. My shortest ride was 24 miles. The best ride of the year was a solo 78 mile ride to Parkfield in spring. Wildflowers were everywhere: most scenic ride ever. I'm hoping to get back up to about 7500 this year.

Well, 2005 was my second year as a cyclist, and it was much worse than my first. Go figure. I took about 4 months off the bike this year (All of February, half of March, and then from October 17 to now).

This year I only had 3,160 miles on 8 centuries.

Longest ride was 200k brevet, ended up at 127 miles / ~202km.

Worst ride was the first ride after taking Feb and first half of March off. It was in Florida and was 50 flat miles. I bonked so hard it was scary.

Best ride...hard to say. Had a lot more quality miles than my first year. Maybe it was day 2 of TOSRV, where I rode alone and managed to average 19mph.

I envy all you out there who can afford that kind of time to put in 5K+ miles per year. I started mid Feb this year and moved to MT in July, so after work rides ended much sooner than I had hoped. Enough excuses.

Total miles: 2739 + ? trainer miles (probably cracked 2800 with these)
Longest ride: TdC Napa Valley Century (101.5 miles)
Best ride: hard to say, but probably a toss-up between TdC Napa Valley (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=30379) and Beartooth Highway (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=43660) outside Red Lodge, MT.
Craziest ride: Riding in SLC with cbass94--12 degrees and not appropriately dressed for it.
Goals for 2006: 3000+ miles
