How many races (not cats) do you run? Looks like the Cat C winner is a sandbagger!
atpjunkie 01-23-2006, 10:30 AM he's in FLA right?
atpjunkie 01-23-2006, 10:32 AM better be for 1 fewer lap. otherwise he was sandbagging HUGE!

We have four races, two in January and two in February.

I meant races per day. I'd guess three ... kids, women plus maybe jr's, everyone else.

No. If I recall correctly, he split time between Mass and NC. I think he got a Moots. I even asked him to submit a race report but he declined. And I promise I asked nicely.

9:15 35+ and 45+
10:15 Jr's and Women Beginner
11:00 Older Juniors, Womens and Mens C
12:00 Mens A and B
atpjunkie 01-23-2006, 11:57 AM knew he was south-ish. I wonder, there must be a nice moots for sale somewhere.
kajukembo 01-23-2006, 01:44 PM a couple of guys had arm warmers on. it must have been a cold snap

Oh god, I almost forgot about that guy. I do wonder how his cross season went...

I'm used to racing in big fields ... I'd probably stuff the masters guys in with the 12:00 race and just have three races. The more bodies to race, the better.
jvossman 01-24-2006, 05:55 AM Hi guys,
I was wondering, I raced sport because dammit, someone has to finish DFL and I am the man for the job
But I would like to also race the 35-45+ race that happens before. I'm 39. Does it make me a sandbagger if I race that first race (I wouldn't finish first, there is a guy with a weyless hard tail mtb that kicks butt) and then do the sport?
Thanks

I don't think that makes you a sandbagger at all. Many people race their age group and the B race.

In case you ain't sick enough watching that guy ride away and you can't do nuthin' about it, that Weyless is a single speed!!!!!!!! The good news is he's in the over 45 class so you don't have to worry about him in your 35-44 group.
The man's a freak, and I say that with all the respect in the world.
