Bjorn Andersonn.... The Viking Project update
Bjorn was prepared for IM New Zealand and has been down there for two weeks. Unfortunately, the day before he left he slipped running on some ice and it turns out he has a torn ligament in the knee. The bad news is he can't run for the next 4-5 weeks but can swim and bike very well. The good news is that Bjorn is a quick healer and is working hard on his swim and bike fitness. We are shooting for Ironman Arizona on April 9, 2006, Bjorn feels very confident on this one. Bjorn will be in the states, most likely Miami for most of March preparing for IMAZ. We'll be also coordinating some photo shoots for all you great sponsors while under the bright sunny skies of Miami Beach.

I have been racing bicycles for 10 years now. Racing Mountain, Cyclocross, and Road is very demanding on my body. I definitely have realized that rest and recovery is one of the most important parts of training. Once I found Recovox I have noticed that my muscles recover faster than before and I have a lot less "sore legs" days. Recovox is also beneficial to my stress levels I have a 4 year old son who keeps me on my toes all day and between work, training, racing and being a mom I feel a lot more relaxed and ready to attack each and everyday.

Follow Recovox Athlete Paige Dunn On Her Attempt To Qualify For Ironman Hawaii
Well looks like I am headed to Ironman Malaysia in February. Ironman China has been postponed until 2007 so I had to find another race. So I've got about 8 weeks to get in shape and ready to race an Ironman. Ha! This should be interesting. It's been a hectic time for me lately. I finished my Masters thesis and am officially done with Grad school which I'm so excited about. That was compounded with a few last minute photo shoots and the holidays all at once so I am just slowing down to relax now. But I guess my down time is over. Training is on. It has been raining for weeks but oh well I don't have time to make excuses.
