Ron Lombardi has been promoted to Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Cannondale Bicycle Corporation. Lombardi will assume expanded responsibilities overseeing the Financial, Human Resources, Legal and I.T. activities of both Cannondale and Sugoi. Lombardi joined Cannondale two years ago and has guided the company to two solid years of financial growth. Lombardi is also extensively involved with Cannondale’s foreign subsidiaries and the financial aspects of Operations and the Cannondale Product Creation Process. In addition, he was a primary leader involved with the Sugoi acquisition.
“In his two years at Cannondale, the responsibilities Ron has taken on have grown tremendously,” noted Matt Mannelly, CEO of Cannondale. “He is a valued member of the leadership team and his knowledge and experience is helping to chart our course strategically. Our fiscal responsibility is vital in our mission to deliver innovative products around the world.”

Prior to joining Cannondale, Lombardi worked at Gerber Scientific. His office is located at worldwide Cannondale headquarters in Bethel, Connecticut.
